Revolut Integrates with Polygon Labs to Power Crypto Payments and Remittances in First Phase of Industry-Defining Collaboration

Europe's largest fintech with over 65 million users integrates with Polygon for USDC and USDT stablecoin transfers, cementing the network as a leader in payments, remittances, and RWAs; marks beginning of a high-impact, multilayered partnership, with major product rollouts and ecosystem announcements to follow.

Polygon Labs, developer of Polygon PoS, the premiere blockchain for payments and RWAs, has announced that Revolut, Europe’s largest fintech with over 65 million users across 38 countries, has integrated with Polygon to enable its customers in the UK and EEA to make crypto remittances in USDC, USDT, and POL, via the Polygon blockchain and the Revolut app. Users also benefit from near-instant transfers and minimal gas fees, and, since this integration went live in December 2024, Revolut has processed over $690m USD volumes in Polygon-based transactions, underscoring strong demand for stablecoin-powered payments.

The remittances product marked the latest milestone in Revolut’s broader integration with Polygon and expands its remittance capabilities. POL, Polygon’s native token, is available to trade on both the Revolut app and via Revolut X, alongside 250+ other tokens. Users can stake POL directly in-app and earn up to 4% APY. Polygon PoS is also supported by Revolut Ramp, providing a direct fiat on-ramp to wallets on Polygon.

The collaboration builds on Polygon’s established position as a leader in infrastructure for payments and stablecoins. According to recent data, stablecoins on Polygon handled over 153 million transactions in the last 30 days, with the supply of stablecoins on the chain rising to $3.6 billion. The network processes millions of daily transactions with average transaction fees of fractions of a penny, making it one of the most cost-effective blockchains in production. Revolut joins a growing number of institutions integrating on Polygon for money movement, including Stripe, Flutterwave, DeCard by DCS, Reliance Jio, and many others, underscoring Polygon’s reliability and rock-solid foundation as global financial infrastructure.

“This integration with Revolut represents exactly the kind of real-world utility for everyday people we’ve been building toward,” said Marc Boiron, CEO of Polygon Labs. “By making blockchain payments invisible to the end user, integrated with everyday traditional payment experiences, and delivering superior speed and cost efficiency, we’re seeing the future of finance unfold.”

Polygon’s integration with Revolut represents a significant milestone in blockchain adoption, as one of Europe’s most trusted financial platforms brings Web3 capabilities to mainstream users. With Revolut’s existing 14 million crypto customers and growing transaction volumes, the partnership demonstrates the readiness of Polygon’s blockchain technology to bring new use cases to traditional financial services.

For Polygon, the partnership with Revolut reinforces its position as the go-to blockchain for enterprise payments and stablecoins, joining other major integrations including Stripe, WorldPay, Flutterwave and leading DeFi protocols. The collaboration sets the stage for further innovations in cross-border payments, remittances, and the broader convergence of traditional and decentralized finance.
