Bitget Wallet and Rhea Finance Launch BTC Staking Program

Bitget Wallet partners with Rhea Finance to offer BTC staking with up to 15% APY and 3 million RHEA token rewards. The DeFi campaign runs from June 27 to July 11 ahead of Rhea’s token launch.

Bitget Wallet has partnered with Rhea Finance to launch a BTC staking campaign offering yields of up to 15% APY, along with a 3 million RHEA token incentive pool.

The program, running from June 27 to July 11, aims to drive participation in decentralized lending while supporting Rhea’s upcoming token generation event.

Rhea Finance, a permissionless lending protocol, allows users to earn interest or borrow assets via an automated pool-based model. The initiative offers Bitget Wallet users an accessible entry into DeFi yield strategies without relinquishing custody of their crypto.

Stakers must deposit a minimum of $10 worth of BTC and complete community engagement tasks—such as joining Rhea’s social channels—to qualify for rewards.

“This collaboration with Rhea Finance reflects our commitment to enabling secure and accessible on-chain opportunities for everyday users,” said Jamie Elkaleh, CMO at Bitget Wallet. “By integrating high-yield staking directly into the wallet, we’re helping users benefit from DeFi without needing to navigate complex protocols or give up control of their assets.”

The campaign comes amid a broader push to attract mainstream crypto users to DeFi. Non-custodial wallets like Bitget have seen rising adoption as users seek more control over their funds following last year’s centralized exchange failures.

Bitget Wallet, formerly BitKeep, now supports over 100 blockchains and has grown rapidly following strategic investment from Bitget Exchange in 2023.

Rhea’s token launch will mark a key milestone for the protocol as it scales its onchain ecosystem and seeks greater participation in decentralized financial services.
